How are signs priced?
Generally speaking, our signs are priced by three main factors: the size of the sign, how many identical signs you order, and what goes on the sign. Large paragraphs of text, special logos and multiple colors are all things that can add to the base price of a sign. For this reason, we encourage you to contact us to receive a quick custom quote.

Can I place an order by phone?
We welcome orders by phone, but since all orders require a prepayment or a deposit, please have a credit card ready. We also accept cash, checks and money orders in the store if you prefer not to use a credit card.

How long does it take to install a sign?
This varies with the type of sign. For electrical signs, the average is between 4 and 6 weeks. This includes the time it takes to secure an approval from your landlord, secure a permit from the city, and physically bend aluminum and create custom neon from scratch for your unique sign. Since no two signs are alike, we recommend having your building surveyed 8 weeks before you plan to open. That way, there is plenty of time to work out the perfect design and still get all the necessary approvals in time to install the signage before you open for business.

What kind of sign do I need on my building?
Most leases have a section called Sign Criteria that explain the types of signs the landlord allows or bans. This often contains very industry-specific terms, so we welcome you to fax, email or bring in this information. We will go over it with you to help you understand what it means and show you examples of similar signs we've done to give you ideas for your sign. Then, we will survey your building and pole signs - at no charge - to determine what size and type of sign will fit the sign criteria as well as your budget and your sign needs.

What kind of files can you use?
AI, EPS and PDF files are usually in a form we can use for any sign. JPG, TIF, PSD and other raster files have to be converted unless you are ordering full-color prints. We can usually convert these files for you, but in some cases your logo may not come out right. We won't we make a sign that doesn't look like the original without your approval. Before you order, you're more than welcome to email us your logo or bring it to us on disk, and we'll let you know whether the file will work for your particular needs or not.
